Early Morning

This piece is absolutely stunning, the moment I saw it, it caught my eye. As much as I adore your equine work, I think this is a brilliant addition to your gallery. And something you should most definitely carry on with in the future!

I'm just assuming you used a long shutter speed? Because the clarity of the water is just magnificent! How smooth and glossy it looks really draws the eye in to wander. The glow of light that hits the water really adds to the texture, almost making it appear angelic.

The mist, or spray in the background makes me wander what is around the bend of the river. It drives me a little mad that I can't just take a few steps to the right to take a look!

The composition is fantastic, the lone rock in the foreground draws me in instantly, but like I mentioned before, the smoothness of the water lets my eyes dance over the image.

The only part I dislike about the photo is the leafs at the side, I think they attract too much attention, during away from the serenity of the photo. I just personally think they are unnecessary, they don't seem to add anything to the photo, more of a hindrance of view then anything.
